A Legacy of Movement and Wellness. Established in September 1995, Blaauw & Partners Biokinetics has been at the forefront of injury rehabilitation, movement correction, and performance enhancement. Established with a passion for helping people move better and live healthier lives, our practice has grown into a trusted name in biokinetics, serving generations of patients with care and expertise.
Our journey began many years ago with a simple yet powerful mission: to restore movement and improve quality of life through scientifically backed exercise therapy. Over the years, we have expanded our services, refined our techniques, and built a team of highly skilled biokineticists who share a deep commitment to patient-centered care.

At Blaauw & Partners, we believe in a holistic approach to rehabilitation and movement wellness. Whether you are recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition, or striving for peak performance, our evidence-based programs are tailored to your unique needs. Our team stays up to date with the latest advancements in biokinetics to ensure you receive the best possible care.
Founded in 1995 by Professor Bokkie Blaauw and Becky Blaauw, Blaauw and Partners has grown into a respected name in the field of Biokinetics in South Africa. Prof Bokkie, a pioneer and founding figure in Biokinetics, played a key role in establishing the discipline at Stellenbosch University in 1986. Becky Blaauw followed in his footsteps, completing her master’s degree with distinction (cum laude) from Stellenbosch University in 1995. Together, they built a practice dedicated to helping people achieve their highest potential in health and fitness.
The heart of the practice lies in its patient-centered philosophy: “Exercise is Medicine.” Blaauw and Partners uses exercise as a therapeutic tool to assist individuals dealing with a wide range of medical conditions and physical limitations, promoting strength, mobility, and overall well-being.
In 2012, Charl Marks joined the practice as an intern after graduating from Nelson Mandela University in Port Elizabeth. His dedication and passion for Biokinetics led to his partnership with Becky Blaauw in 2022, strengthening the leadership of the practice.
Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals in the Helderberg area, Blaauw and Partners continues its mission to provide expert, compassionate care. Their focus remains clear—to improve quality of life through movement, function, and exercise.
